Creating an Apple ID on a computer
Open up a web browser and go to the following website: https://appleid.apple.com/account
On this page, fill out the form entirely with your information.
Apple ID can be your personal or @nvrinc.com address.
Password has several requirements. (8 or more characters, uppers and lower case, and at least one number)
The phone number needs to be either personal or work that you have access to. Apple will send a 2-factor code to verify the account.
Apple Announcements, Apps, and Apple Newsletter can be unchecked.
Type the characters from the image you see on the screen.
Click Continue.
Verify your email address.
Check your email (account used for Apple ID) and look for the verification code.
Key the code into the pop-up window in your web browser.
Click Verify.
Type in the code that gets sent to the phone number you put in.
Key the code into the pop-up window in your web browser.
Click Verify.
Once verified, you will be taken to your Apple ID Settings portal/dashboard where information may be updated in the future.
